Catriona Ward

Catriona Ward was born in Washington, DC and grew up in the US, Kenya, Madagascar, Yemen, and Morocco. She has won Best Horror Novel at the British Fantasy Awards three times and has also received the Shirley Jackson Award. Her third novel, The Last House on Needless Street, was a Times bestseller, an Observer Thriller of the Month, and was chosen for BBC2’s Between the Covers Book Club with Sara Cox and the Richard & Judy Book Club.

Looking Glass Sound

Catriona’s stunning new thriller, Looking Glass Sound, tells the story of Wilder Harlow who is writing the story of his childhood and the killer that stalked his small New England town. Of the body they found, and of Sky, Wilder’s one-time best friend, who stole his unfinished memoir and turned it into a lurid bestselling novel

But as Wilder writes, the lines between memory and the present blur. He fears he’s losing his grip on reality when he finds notes hidden around the cottage written in Sky’s signature green ink. Wilder begins to wonder: is he writing the book, or is the book writing him?

“Numerous twists to shock and surprise” The Times

Emma Flint

Emma Flint’s first novel, Little Deaths, was longlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction, for the Desmond Elliott Prize, for the Crime Writers’ Association Gold Dagger Award, and for The Guardian’s Not the Booker Prize. Since childhood, Emma has read reports of real-life crimes, and over the years has developed an encyclopaedic knowledge of murder cases and notorious historical figures, as well as a fascination with unconventional women – past, present, and fictional.

The Other Women

Based on a real-life murder that took place just after the Great War, Emma’s second, much anticipated novel, The Other Women, tells the mesmerising story of two women’s lives and the fatal love triangle that consumed them.

“Inspired by true events, this thrilling suspense story will make you question your loyalties at every turn” Harper’s Bazaar
